Learn about the amazing discovery of the “einstein tile” known as the Hat and its close relative, the Spectre, a “chiral” aperiodic monotile. They made one for themselves and a matching hat for their favourite stuffed animals.Groundbreaking Discoveries in Mathematics They had so much fun making (and playing with) these hats! Tabloid paper (11 inch by 17 inch) would work really well as well. You could also tape together 2 sheets of letter sized paper (8.5 inch by 11 inch). If you’re using newspaper, use one large unfolded sheet of newspaper. We taped together 2 sheets of 9 inch by 12 inch construction paper, so the total size was 18 inches by 12 inches. ![]()
